Turkey remained in the national team, Wales in the 1/8 finals –  20.06.2021  

It was held between the national teams of Switzerland and Turkey at the Baku Olympic Stadium

The fight in Group A of the European Football Championship has ended.

The Turkish national team met the Swiss team at the Baku Olympic Stadium. The match ended with a 1: 3 defeat of the “moon-stars” and the Turkish national team said goodbye to the European Championship without a goal.

In the other match of this group, the Italian national team tested the Welsh team, which qualified for the 1/8 finals in the last round. The match at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome ended in a 1-0 victory for the hosts. The only goal was scored by Matteo Pessina in the 39th minute. Although the points were equal with Switzerland, the British, who conceded fewer goals, advanced to the playoffs. The Swiss, on the other hand, can reach the 1/8 finals as the third best team, depending on the results of other matches of the last round.
