In the first laps of the final race on June 12, Sainz is out of the game due to a malfunction in his car. Then, in the 20th lap, while Leclerc was in the first place, also left the race in frustration due to an engine failure. As a result, both drivers from the Ferrari team get DNF. Before Leclerc left the race Verstappen, Perez and Russell were behind him respectively and it was not known yet the final would end in the same order.

Later on, Zhou and Magnussen could not finish the race similarly. Yuki Tsunoda, on the other hand, gets a rear wing issue which makes him unable to use DRS. Close to the end of the race Stroll gets retired without being able to reach the finish.
