On April 21, the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup competitions started.

At the fourth international competition in the types of gymnastics that Azerbaijan is hosting this year, 135 athletes from 40 countries competed in the program of individual and group exercises.

Our country was represented by Zohra Agamirova and Alina Gezalova, as well as the national team consisting of Gullu Agalarzade, Laman Alimuradova, Kamilla Aliyeva, Zeynab Hummatova, Elizaveta Luzan, Daria Sorokina.
In this sport, our capital hosted the World Championship in 2005 and 2019.
