From November 8 to 12, 2019 Lishui Photography Festival in China. The five-day event included an opening ceremony, international seminars, a theme exhibition, artist-in-residence programs, photography product expositions, cultural tourism product fairs, online and offline interactions and a closing ceremony. According to the statistics of the organizing committee, a total of 5,021 photographers from 108 countries, 153 institutions and 112 colleges and universities have applied to participate in the Lishui Photography Festival exhibitions .
As one of the invited curators to organize exhibitions at the festival, Guo Jing along with Shangtuf team invited photographers from more than 50 countries to participate in these exhibitions. Total of 700 works of 71 photographers from in and outside of China were exhibited at the festival by them. For their exhibition “Me and My Family” were invited 51 photographers from 50 countries, among which was Nurlan Tahirli representing Azerbaijan. During the month-long exhibition, along with his “Time Tunnel”, “Time hole” photos also his family self-portrait in national costume was presented to visitors.
The photographer was also invited to the 13th Yixian Festival in China in 2018 where his “Silver Series” photos were exhibited.
