This Salon open to all photographers around the world. It is an International digital Salon under FIAP Patronage, Creative Union PhotoArt (Russia) patronage.
The World Eco Photo was founded in 2017 by Tyumen House of Photography. He was supported by the Russian geographic society (RGO LLP), the Union of PhotoArtists of Russia. International status was confirmed by the patronage FIAP) and the Photographic Society of America (PSA). The first competition was held in 2018. Further, as an annual event. The project was held with the support of the Department of Culture of the Tyumen region.
The main objectives of the competition:
• not only show the beauty of landscapes, flora and fauna of the planet Earth, but also visualize the actual problems of ecology and environmental protection, the problems of conservation of rare and endangered species;
• demonstrate that technological progress can be in harmony with nature and human activities;
• to develop in society the idea of personal involvement of everyone in the preservation of the environment.
The organizers of World Eco Photo are believing that such projects become a point of growth of public initiatives, based on which there are programs of global importance, such as, for example, the “Genesis” of the great photographer Sebastian Salgado.

Results of 2018
The competition was attended by more than 1000 participants from 31 countries. More than 110 awards and prizes were awarded. Among them are medals, honorary ribbons and diplomas, cash prizes from sponsors. For example, the official partner of the “Open Siberia” section, sent two photographers (Alexeev Vladimir, Moscow and Romanov Alexander, Tyumen) to the East-Messoyakhskoye Oil&Gas Platform, in the heart of the Arctic. Photographers also visited the indigenous inhabitants of the tundra.
Alfa-Bank, being the official Bank of the competition and a partner of “Nature/Wildlife”, awarded the winner of the nomination (Dmitry Fedorov, Surgut) a cash prize.
The final exhibition “Nature: pain and hope” consisted of 220 photos and opened in Tyumen, in the Museum complex, by I. Y. Slovtsov name on the area more than 500 sq. m.
