This festival is the first multi-faceted European event for young athletes aged 14-18. There are winter and summer festivals held only once in two years. Azerbaijan joined the festival with 122 athletes. The squad is dominated by wrestlers and light athletes. 3900 athletes from 48 countries competed in 12 sports venues at 12 sports facilities in Baku, capital of Baku, in the competition of ten types of sports – gymnastics, athletics, basketball, cycling, handball, judo, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling.
