July 5-7, 2019, the ascent to the summit of Bazarduzu was accomplished. The summit is located on the ridge of the Greater Caucasus on the border with Dagestan and is the highest point of Azerbaijan. It is located at 4466 meters above sea level. On July 5, after spending the night in Khinalig, on July 6, it was passed in the direction of Khinalig-Shakhayaylag and the camp was set up at an altitude of 3300 meters. The participants of the ascent began their way on July 7, at 03.00 at night and reached the goal at 09.30. The flag of Azerbaijan was deployed at the top. Photographer Zamin Jafarov made a traditional memorable photo with the flag of the Association of Photographers of Azerbaijan. During the ascent, the weather was foggy and cloudy, after reaching the goal, the weather changed, it began to snow, the participants descended to the camp in conditions of fog and snow. It was raining at the camp site. Thus, the ascent was successfully completed, having passed all four seasons.
