Terms and Conditions
Baku 2018
- General Provisions:
- “From “Life to Picture” photo competition is held within the framework of “Family” film festival.
- This statute determines the terms and conditions of identifying and rewarding the winners of photo competition.
- The purpose of the competition:
highlighting such important topics as preservation and passing moral values to the young generation in modern life
Promotion of family traditions in society, by means of photo.
promotion of family values among young people and teenagers;
Discovery of the creative skills of young people.
- The organizers of the contest:
- The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs
- Heydar Aliyev Foundation
- The UN Population Fund
- The participants of the contest:
- secondary, vocational schools and higher education institutions;
- representatives of foreign countries;
- members of children and youth public organizations
- teenagers and young independent photographers;
- professional photographers.
The festival has no age limit.
- Topics of the works presented at the competition:
- National-moral and universal values, traditions of people;
- Bringing up the young generation in the spirit of national patriotism
- Promotion of family culture;
- Esteem and respect of young generation towards elder people
- The influence of the domestic violence on family’s psychology;
- Problems caused by human trafficking;
- Healthy lifestyle, consequences of bad habits;
- Consequences of blood relationship, early marriage;
- Integration of people with restricted abilities in society;
- Families representing the national minorities, traditions and family relations;
- Promotion of family models;
- Influence of family members’ attitude on children’s education, behavior and the psychological state;
- Interaction of parent-school-student relations
- Example of the best single parent.
- The criteria of evaluation of the presented works:
- The relevance to the festival’s purpose and idea;
- The originality of the composition;
- Quality.
- The nominations:
- “The best photo”
- «The photo got more Likes in the Social network”
- The awards:
- Award
- Diploma
- Precious gift
- In addition to the major nominations there are also encouraging prizes presented to participants.
- The terms of the selection of winners:
- The works presented in festival are evaluated by a jury consisting of famous scientists, cultural workers and public figures.
- The works presented in festival are also evaluated by social network users.
- At the end of the festival all participants’ works are published in the catalog.
- All participants must submit the below mentioned documents to the Organizing Committee no later than 1st October of 2017
Application (attachment 1) ( printed or e- form)application photo
Presented photo must be:
taken within the last 5 years
in appropriate size- 20 x 30 cm
number: 1 – 5;
e- form of submitted photo must be 800 – 1500 pixels and JPEG, TIFF or RAW formats.
- The Organizing Committee is formed by the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
By the Organizing Committee:
Filled in application form and film recorded on disc are accepted in the organizing Committee and represented to Jury
The festival will be held upon the decision of the Jury.
The works presented in festival can be used (free of charge ) for the purpose of raising awareness among the population
Organizing Committee is not responsible for complaints of film actors on the demonstration of the film.
The submitted works will not be returned back to the author.
