On October 11, at around 4:00 AM, the densely-populated second largest city of Azerbaijan – Ganja city which is situated 70 km away from the conflict zone, was shelled by Armenia. As a result of the attack on residential buildings populated by civilians including many children, women and elderly people, 10 civilians, including 5 women have passed away and 34 civilians, including 10 women and 9 children were injure. In addition, more than 10 residential buildings and more than 100 civil structures were damaged.

Armenia has violated the requirements of the humanitarian ceasefire declared on October 10, at 12:00 AM and deliberately attacked civilian population of Azerbaijan, especially the settlements of Ganja city using missiles (“Tochka-U”, “Smerch”, “Skad”).

The missile attack on Ganja showed antihuman and fascist face of the political-military leadership of Armenia once again, and proved that the settlements and the civilian population is the real target of Armenia.
