The Rhythmic Gymnastic World Cup will be held at the National Gymnasium from April 19th to 21st.

The opening ceremony was held on April 18th.
At the event, which was organized at the National Arena, the new mascots for the federation, an elegant gazelle and a brave fox, were first introduced to the public.
Then, the national flags of participating countries were displayed in the center of the arena.

At the opening ceremony, Farid Gayibov, Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan, praised the hosting of future prestigious gymnastic events in Baku, citing it as an example of attention and concern for sports in the country. He noted that Baku was one of the major centers of global gymnastics and that Azerbaijan’s sports successes were growing and gymnastics was developing every year.
Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played.

On the second day of the competition, on April 20th, the Azerbaijani team won the bronze medal, based on the results of all-around, consisting of Gullu Aghalarzade , Kamilla Aliyeva, Elyzaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina, and Laman Alimuradova, who also received 69.05 points from the judges for their performance.
In this program, the Spanish team took first place (70.45 points), and Italy took second place (70.15 points).
