BCC as in every year, launched an exciting session on 26th April 2019 too for audience and fans, but left them without watching the first practice session of F1. This was caused by the crash of George Russell’s car from the Williams team, which was damaged with a sudden hit of the manhole cover among the 2nd and 3rd turns. It was further decided to suspend the PS1 and check the safety of the entire route. I think it was the most memorable moment of the 1st day for all.
Following this, the session qualifying Formula 2 started for a half-hour delay.
The 26th of April was the successful mostly for the Ferrari team – both pilots of the team completed the races with the best results compared to the other participants.
