The next general meeting of the Azerbaijan Photographers Union for  election of a new board, chairman of the board, inspection commission in 2022-2024 was held at the Museum of Painting of Azerbaijan   on February 12, 2022.  The meeting was attended by six honorary members and founders of APU.

Chairman of the Board Mirnaib Hasanoglu reported at the meeting.  The participants of the meeting commented on the report.  Commenting on the report, Rafael Gambarov called the report unsatisfactory. During the voting, the report was accepted as satisfactory.

Later, there were disagreements over the number of board members and the voting process.  After face-to-face discussions, Farid Ashrafoglu proposed to establish an organizing committee and re-prepare presentations on the candidates’ real action plan and work to be done.  Mirnaib Hasanoglu proposed   two months of preparatory work.

The general meeting Decided to extend the performance of duties  of Mirnaib Hasanoglu for two months.  Then Azerbaijan Photographers Union’s  meeting     was declared closed.
