From May 1 to 4, 2025, the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku hosted the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup, bringing together the continent’s top athletes. The tournament featured individual and group competitions, as well as spectacular cross battles.

Individual All-Around

Taisiia Onofriichuk (Ukraine) won the individual all-around with a total of 113.750 points. Tara Dragas (Italy) secured second place with 110.050 points, and Polina Karika (Ukraine) finished third with 106.900 points.

Apparatus Finals

Hoop: Taisiia Onofriichuk claimed gold with 29.550 points, ahead of Lian Rona (Israel) and Tara Dragas.

Ball: Sofia Raffaeli (Italy) won the event, followed by Lola Djuraeva (Uzbekistan) and Taisiia Onofriichuk.

Clubs: Onofriichuk secured another gold, with Dragas taking silver and Dara Malinova (Bulgaria) earning bronze.

Ribbon: Onofriichuk achieved her fourth victory, surpassing Tara Dragas and Amalia Lica (Romania).

Cross Battles

The tournament concluded with individual cross battles, where gymnasts competed in head-to-head duels. Sofia Raffaeli (Italy) emerged victorious, defeating Taisiia Onofriichuk and Lola Djuraeva in the final.

Group Exercises

In the group all-around, the Azerbaijani team placed fifth. However, in the final with 3 balls and 2 hoops, the team – comprising Kamilla Aliyeva, Laman Alimuradova, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Darya Sorokina and Sofiya Mammadova – secured gold with a score of 27.400 points.
In the group Cross-Battle, the Azerbaijan team won bronze, losing to Bulgaria and Italy.
